During the retreat, you will train in:

  • Singing and vocal techniques for better pitch, breath and tone
  • Mantra chanting with correct pronunciation, rhythm and feeling
  • Kirtan and Bhajan singing in traditional devotional style
  • Harmonium playing for melody, scale practice and self-accompaniment
  • Understanding melody and rhythm so your singing becomes more stable and expressive

Why Pushkar Is the Perfect Place for Music

Pushkar is one of Rajasthan’s most spiritual towns. The sound of temple bells, evening aarti at Pushkar Lake, devotional singing, peaceful lanes and desert air create a special atmosphere for learning music.

In Pushkar, music naturally connects with devotion. A mantra is not just a melody. A bhajan is not just a song. A kirtan is not just a group activity. Each one becomes a way to listen, feel and express something deeper.

During the retreat, you will also experience the sacred and cultural side of Pushkar through selected visits and evening experiences, including Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple, Savitri Mata Temple and Rangji Temple.

Special Pushkar experiences during the retreat may include:

  • Evening Aarti and Pooja at the holy Pushkar Lake
  • Visit to the famous Brahma Temple
  • Mountain visit to Savitri Mata Temple
  • Visit to Rangji Temple near Krishna Music School
  • Time to explore local markets, temples and the spiritual atmosphere of Pushkar

November Batch Special — Pushkar Camel Fair Atmosphere

The November 2026 batch is special because it falls close to the world-famous Pushkar Camel Fair season. During this time, Pushkar becomes full of color, folk music, cultural programs, local markets, traditional Rajasthani life and village energy.

Because official fair activities and dates can vary, we describe this honestly: the November batch gives you the chance to experience the special atmosphere and opening energy around Pushkar Camel Fair season, depending on the final local schedule.

During the fair season, Pushkar may offer:

  • Traditional Rajasthani cultural activities
  • Folk music and dance performances
  • Cultural programs and fairground celebrations
  • Camel fair atmosphere and local markets
  • Authentic Rajasthani traditions and village culture

What We Teach — and Why It Works

Your Voice Is Not Broken. It Is Untrained.

Many students arrive saying, “I cannot sing.” But often the problem is not the voice. The problem is that nobody has shown them how to use the voice correctly.

In this retreat, we help you understand how to sing with better breath, better pitch, better mouth placement and better awareness. You will not only copy songs. You will learn the foundation behind singing.

Real teaching, real connection — personal guidance in voice, harmonium and devotional music

In 8 days you will learn to consciously use:

  • Your breath for natural and stable singing
  • Your belly, chest and throat for better voice support
  • Your mouth, jaw and tongue for clearer notes
  • Your hands and voice together while playing harmonium
  • Your feeling and expression while singing mantras, kirtan and bhajan

Your 8 Days — What Actually Happens

Days 1–2: Finding Your Musical Foundation

We begin with the basics of Indian music: Sa, Sargam, breath, pitch and listening. You will learn how to find your root note and how to begin singing without forcing your voice.

These first two days help you build confidence. You start to hear your voice differently. You also begin harmonium practice step by step.

Day 3: Voice, Breath and Body Awareness

Your voice does not work alone. Breath, posture, mouth position and emotional state all affect your singing. On this day, you will learn how to coordinate your body and voice for a more natural sound.

Days 4–5: Harmonium, Melody and Rhythm

You will practice harmonium with your voice. You will learn how to follow melody, stay in rhythm and sing simple devotional phrases while playing.

This is where many students feel the joy of music becoming practical. The harmonium starts to support your singing, and your singing starts to guide your hands.

Day 6: Mantra Chanting and Devotional Expression

Mantra chanting is not only about repeating words. It is about pronunciation, rhythm, melody and feeling. You will learn how to chant with calmness, clarity and devotion.

Days 7–8: Kirtan, Bhajan and Integration

The final days bring everything together. You will practice kirtan and bhajan singing, group chanting, harmonium accompaniment and devotional expression.

You leave with a clearer voice, a stronger foundation, simple harmonium skills and a practice you can continue after the retreat.

What You Leave With

  • Better voice control — sing with more awareness, confidence and stability
  • Breath and pitch practice — understand how to stay steady while singing
  • Harmonium foundation — play simple melodies and support your own singing
  • Mantra chanting skills — chant with pronunciation, rhythm and feeling
  • Kirtan and Bhajan practice — understand devotional singing in a group setting
  • Understanding of melody and rhythm — build a real foundation, not just memorized songs
  • A spiritual music experience in Pushkar — temple visits, lake aarti and cultural connection
  • A daily music practice — something you can continue at home
