Pushkar, Ajmer, Rajasthan, India
Please read carefully before submitting your registration.
Welcome
We are honoured to welcome you to this musical journey at Krishna Music School in the spiritual town of Pushkar.
This 8-day retreat is a sacred and supportive space for learning, growth, and self-discovery through Indian devotional music — Singing, Mantra Chanting, Kirtan, Bhajan, Harmonium, melody, rhythm, and correct vocal practice.
To protect the experience for every participant, we ask all students to read and agree to the following guidelines before joining the retreat.
1. Full Participation Commitment
This retreat is a progressive 8-day program where each session builds directly on the previous one.
By registering, you commit to attending the complete duration of your chosen batch.
- Early departure is not encouraged once the retreat has begun.
- No refund will be issued for early departure, regardless of the reason.
- If you are unable to complete the retreat due to a genuine emergency, please contact us directly. We will do our best to support you.
The retreat works best when students stay present for the full journey from Day 1 to Day 8.
2. Payment & Cancellation Policy
A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your spot.
The remaining balance is due on Day 1 of the retreat.
- Standard retreat fee: ₹30,000 per person

- Full refund is available if cancellation is made 30 or more days before your batch start date.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the start date are non-refundable.

- Spots are non-transferable to another person without prior written approval from Krishna Music School.
Your seat is confirmed only after Krishna Music School receives your registration details and advance payment.
3. Learning Approach — Patience Over Speed
Our teaching method is step-by-step.
Each lesson is carefully designed so that one practice supports the next. We ask all participants to:
- Trust the process and avoid rushing ahead.
- Follow the curriculum in the given sequence.
- Practice patiently, even when something feels difficult at first.
- Understand that progress in music is gradual, deep, and personal.
Indian devotional music is not only about singing loudly or quickly. It is about listening, feeling, breath, rhythm, melody, and devotion.
Those who practice with patience will receive the deepest benefit from the retreat.
4. Mindset & Retreat Environment
Music is born from feeling.
A calm, open, and joyful mind creates a richer voice and a deeper musical experience than pressure or self-judgment.
We ask all students to:
- Come to each session relaxed, positive, and present.
- Embrace mistakes as part of the learning process.
- Avoid comparing yourself to other students.
- Avoid stress, excessive self-criticism, or pressure to perform.
- Support and encourage fellow participants.
Krishna Music School maintains a peaceful, respectful, and judgment-free environment.
Any behavior that disturbs the peace, safety, comfort, or learning experience of fellow students or teachers may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
5. Attendance & Discipline
Students are expected to attend all retreat sessions punctually.
Daily class schedule:
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Evening Session: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Total daily training: 2 hours per day
Please follow these guidelines:
- Attend both morning and evening sessions on time.
- If you must miss a session due to illness or emergency, inform your teacher in advance.
- Follow the teacher’s instructions carefully.
- Respect the flow and silence of each class.
- Keep phones on silent during sessions.
- Recording for personal practice is allowed only with the teacher’s permission.
This discipline helps create a focused and peaceful learning space for everyone.
6. For Participants with Prior Music Experience
If you already have experience in singing, harmonium, kirtan, mantra chanting, bhajan, or Indian music, you are most welcome.
We ask that you:
- Approach our teaching method with an open mind.
- Allow yourself to relearn foundational elements.
- Avoid correcting or interrupting other students during class.
- Share your experience only when appropriate and invited.
- Encourage beginners around you.
Sometimes the deepest learning happens when experienced students return to the basics with fresh attention.
7. Accommodation & Meals
Accommodation and meals are not included in the retreat fee.
Students are responsible for arranging their own stay and food in Pushkar.
Pushkar has many guesthouses, hotels, cafés, and restaurants for different budgets and comfort levels. We recommend arriving 1–2 days before the retreat begins so you can settle in, rest, and become familiar with the area before classes start.
After registration, you may contact Krishna Music School for general accommodation suggestions near the school.
Please note: Krishna Music School does not take responsibility for hotel bookings, food arrangements, or personal travel expenses.
